GEM RECEIVES $300K FROM THE OREGON LEGISLATURE

With the assistance of Senator Bill Hansell of Athena, Athena's Gem was awarded $300K for ongoing renovation of the Gem facility through HB5201.

 

The timing of this award was wonderful, as we really had exhausted the resources at our disposal for big facility improvements.  We are finding that the costs of labor are up 15% for us this year or last and material cost, particularly wiring, has increased dramatically.
